The meaning behind Yūrei.
Pronounced You-Ray, Yūrei are ghosts and spirits from Japanese folklore,trapped between this world and the next by powerful emotions like jealousy, love or vengeance.
Traditionally depicted with pale skin, black unkempt flowing hair and white burial robes, they have become enduring symbols of unrest, loss and the supernatural.
There are many types of Yūrei, our interpretation is inspired by the Onryō - the vengeful spirit that refuses to rest.

Every custom design starts with an original concept created by Yūrei, we then hand draw them ourselves or work with skilled artists to bring those ideas alive before printing and shipping from our Bristol HQ.

The quality fabric of the tee and the print is A* quality. Exactly why i love supporting alternative brands who produce products to a great standard! It washes great with no cracking to the design, sizing is exactly how you expect. As a female size 12uk, I get large and fits ideal for a loose fit, but for a baggier vibe i go for an Xl.
